McPherson Optimist Club Sets record at the American Legion Family Night!Publish Date: 2008-11-21 The McPherson Optimist Club has done it again! With the outstanding effort of our members, we were able to set a new record for receipts at the American Legion Family Night fund raising event held on November 20. We raised over $1,100 for our club to utilize towards the Gift program from this activity.

In addition to the members shown in the photos, there were a number of our other members who assisted in the event by either providing desserts, buying or selling tickets, or working sometime during the evening. Great job, Optimists! We've been invited to sponsor a Family Night at Legion again next year.
