Optimist Club Participates in Local Bowl For Kids Sake

McPherson Optimist Club members Jack Rader, Megan Spencer, Keith Janzen and Rick Stein along with "little" Cody Armstrong bowled in the McPherson County Bowl For Kids Sake held last week. The Team, along with Club support was able to raise almost $900.00 toward the Big Brothers Big Sisters goal. While we hestitate to say the bowling effort was spectacutlar, the team did have a good time. Bowling scores were improved upon from game one to game two. Fellow Optimists Keith Sherwood and Angie McDonald, bowling for Team USD 418, assisted in the event as well. Funds raised during this event will help sponser Big Brothers Big Sisters events and suport children in McPherson County.
