2005 Easter Egg Hunt

The 2005 Optimist Club Easter Egg Hunt was held on a chilly and overcast day this year. But as expected, the weather had no effect on the energy and excitement of the over 250 youth who hunted for the candy "hid" throughout lakeside park. This year's event was again chaired by Neil Colle (Mr. Easter Egg Hunt) and included a visit by the Easter Bunny herself (Janet Rader). Numerous club members assisted in throwing the more than 22,000 individual chocolate eggs and over 40 dozen plastic ones as well as handling crowd control. This annual event is part of the excellent history of our club and is really a fun project to be involved in working. Thank you Neil and all those members who helped! We are looking forward to doing it again next year.
