The Gift project is underway!Publish Date: 2005-12-07 And their off! Nearly two dozen Optimists and their guests met on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 to purchase gifts for 44 teens. After a team meeting, they were off to buy the presents. Working from the intake forms received from the Resource Council, gifts specifically chosen for each teen were sought out. Seems like the teens like CDs and DVDs the most, but when the shopping was over, quite a variety of really nice stuff was selected. The gifts will now be wrapped and the individual name of the teen will be placed on each package. The gifts will be handed out on the 17th. It's been a lot of fun working on this project!
