Optimists bring in the New Year at the American Legion

Several dozen Optimist Club members and their guests celebrated the New Year with a dance held at the American Legion. A local DJ, Steve Spence, kept the party lively with his choice of tunes, and the Legion provided party favors and snacks to help with the fun. The American Legion was a big supporter of the Gift program this year and are planning to continue with that support in the years ahead. By attending the dance, the Optimist Club members showed support to the Legion by paying a nominal entry charge. A true win-win proposition!
