Our club works at the U.S. Senior OpenPublish Date: 2006-08-08 Our club marshaled the 12th hole at the U.S. Senior Open in Hutchinson, Kansas from July 3 through July 9, 2006. It was a great project and allowed those
participating to "rub shoulders" with some of the worlds best golfers. Our primary duty was to make sure the golfers had the chance to play their best without any interference from spectators. We where responsible for all aspects of our hole, from tee to green. If a shot was in the rough (which didn't happen nearly as often as if one of us was playing) we would help find it. Our most common activity was to make sure everyone was quiet when the players were hitting. It was a lot of fun.
